This month, Jubilee Life Insur­ance Co. (T) Ltd is celebrating five years of leadership that inspired Growth, under the leadership of Ms. Helena C. Mzena as the CEO, she has provided strong and forward-looking leadership that has transformed the company into one of the most trusted and competitive life insurance Company in Tanzania.

Through strategic vision, operational discipline, and a customer centric approach, Jubilee Life has strengthened its market position, financial performance, distribution capacity, and regulatory compliance while accelerating digital transformation and innovation. To mention a few, over the five years period, the Company has recorded the following achievements:

Revenue growth

5.5 times growth in revenue, this is 500% growth which demonstrates strong financial performance and growth in the Company’s embedded value. This remarkable growth has also expanded our market share by 8%, reinforcing our growing position in the industry and positioned the Company as the leader in distributing Retail (Individual) Life Insurance in Tanzania.

Customer growth

Grew our customer base 3 times, a growth of 200% lives, driven by a deliberate focus on customer-cen­tric service delivery and a commit­ment to customer excellence. This reflects the trust and confidence customers place in us. This has improved our customer satisfac­tion and loyalty with an Excellence achievement of NPS score of up to 72% – represent world class.

Partnerships

Significantly expanded our dis­tribution network, growing from 3 to 18 Banks in Bancassurance partners, introduced Telecom part­nerships and increased our broker and Agency network substantially. This expansion has opened doors to stronger collaboration opportuni­ties, shared growth, and enhanced value propositions.

Claims and benefits paid

Paid 2.1 times more claims and benefits, increasing by 117% pay­ments. This underscores our unwa­vering commitment to honouring our promise and providing financial security when it matters most.
